Catskill View Preserve

This light-filled home keeps a low profile by nestling into the hillside, perching just enough on top to take in the dramatic views of the property’s grassy meadows and the Hudson Valley. Environmentally it keeps a low profile as well, designed to meet Zero Energy Ready Home criteria and featuring high-performing windows from a local company that includes Ornilux glass to protect the abundant avian population on site.

We are excited to be working with Reed Contracting Inc., Proper & O'Leary Engineering, Sabin Viehland Interior Design, and Jamie Purinton Landscape on the project.

Lakeview Modern

Seated atop a high bank with a panoramic view of Lake Washington, this new mid-century-modern-inspired home is set to evolve into a private family retreat. A layered garden will transition from a newly-reoriented parking court into a screened entry. From there, the house will open to a glass-enclosed courtyard and generous east and west terraces, expanding the living area out into the meditative garden with a variety of indoor/outdoor spaces. Simple forms, clean lines and a curated palette of materials will provide a backdrop for connecting to nature and keep the focus on the serene park-like setting.

Hawi Homestead

Nestled amidst the serene beauty of Hawi, Hawaii, this new project fosters multigenerational living. This early iteration of an addition to the owners’ existing retreat creates a harmonious sanctuary where everyone in the family feels right at home.

Pinwheel House

Located on a level lot north of Sun Valley, the four wings of the house frame views from a central gallery and entry space. The Great Room and Primary Suite roofs pitch up for views of the surrounding mountains. This single-story home will showcase the owner’s art collection while providing welcoming spaces for family, friends, and dogs.

Big Wood River Cabin

Nestled on the bank of the Big Wood River in Ketchum, Idaho, we are designing a cabin that connects calming, quiet spaces to the surrounding forest. Complete with a tranquil central garden, wellness areas, and a focus on homegrown food, this home is a retreat for relaxation and rejuvenation. The home will be net-zero with high-performance insulation and detailing combined with solar power.

Shiki Hill Studio

The first phase of our Shikinohausu project is complete. The guest house and site infrastructure are in place and we are hard at work on phase two which includes a detached 3-car garage and a ceramic studio building. We’re excited to be working on future phases as our amazing clients settle into their new home. See more here.
